In that ye have brought into my sanctuary astrangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to bpollute it, even my house, when ye offer my cbread, the dfat and the eblood, and they have broken my fcovenant because of all your abominations. Ezek. 44: 7Breaking the covenant makes us unworthy. If priesthood holders give into wicked desires of people and help them worship unrighteously, then the Lord will set himself against those leaders. Those priesthood leaders help members to fall into iniquity.
Priesthood leaders who keep the covenants, and do not follow iniquitous members, will keep the Lord's charge and minister unto God. No wool should be put upon them when entering the "inner court"?
According to this site from the Greek Orthodox Church:
Linen was considered to be a fine material in comparison with wool which was generally coarser and more commonly used. Besides a linen tunic, the order of Levites was also ordained to wear linen mitres upon their heads and "linen drawers upon their loins" and "they shall not tightly gird themselves."So we put on our finest clothes when we enter into the inner court. We don't wear ordinary street clothes.
